Three-car accident causes the closure of Loop 303

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a three-car accident on State Route 303 caused the west end to close.

The fire chief in the area said that three people were injured in the accident and were taken to local hospitals to be treated for their injuries.

Two people were taken in a ground ambulance, but one was transported by medical helicopter. The lanes were closed near the El Mirage exit. The condition of the injured people is unknown at this time. Details of the accident are currently being investigated.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims as they recover.
