A woman was seriously injured in a two-vehicle car accident on U.S. Highway 56 near Lawrence, Kansas. According to the Kansas Highway patrol, the accident was caused when a 45 year-old motorist in a Ford pick-up truck ran a stop sign and collided with another vehicle driven by a 20 year-old Lawrence woman. Police say no one else was injured and everyone, thankfully was wearing their seat belts.
