An unidentified 53-year-old Moreno Valley woman was killed in a solo vehicle auto accident that occurred on April 30, 2011, around 7:50 p.m. in the 4600 block of Olivewood Avenue in Riverside. According to the California Highway Patrol Officers responding to the car crash scene, the car in which the victim was driving crashed into a tree for unknown reasons.
The injured woman was immediately transported to Riverside Community Hospital for treatment where she was ultimately pronounced dead about two hours later. The investigating officers are trying to determine the exact cause of this auto accident.
The investigation is still being conducted. Unfortunately, it is unclear from the facts of the news story why the accident occurred. There is a possibility that the auto accident may have been the result of a mechanical defect or design issue. It could have also been the result of an uneven road surface.
