Ontario I-10 Car Accident Kills Man

Saturday, August 20, 2011

49-year-old Jerome Harrison was killed in a car crash that occurred on July 5, 2011, on Interstate 10 (I-10) in Ontario. According to San Bernardino County coroner's officials, the victim was driving his Cadillac on eastbound I-10 when he rear ended a parked truck.

Harrison’s car had to be extricated from beneath the big rig by the Ontario Fire Department officers. Paramedics responding to this serious accident pronounced Harrison dead at the accident scene.

From the limited available information, it is unclear what made the motorist rear end the truck. Investigating officers need to determine whether there Harrison was distracted, if there was a mechanical failure, or if the vehicle was parked at a wrong place.

Harrison’s family members should immediately consult with a San Bernardino car accident lawyer to learn about their legal rights and obtain compensation to cover funeral and burial costs, loss of anticipated earnings, loss of love, care and companionship, and other accident-related damages.

Our law office offers sincere condolences to all those who knew and loved Harrison for such a shocking and disturbing loss.
