Loose debris falling off vehicles and onto the highway– we’ve talked about this before.  Another example of happened recently, when three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash that was caused when a ladder fell off a truck and onto Interstate 470 during rush hour.  The auto injury accident happened in the westbound lanes of 470 near Raytown Road.  Three people in two cars were injured.  None are expected to be serious.

Our experienced Kansas City Auto Injury Attorneys want to you to be safe in your travels and commute either through Kansas City or the states of Kansas and Missouri.  Make sure anything loose is properly secured in your vehicle to prevent any unfortunate incidents in the future.  If it’s been a while, have your car inspected just to be sure everything is working properly.

Loose debris can be very dangerous and can only take a few extra minutes to make sure it’s secure.  We remind you of a case recently in which a woman was killed by a flying piece of debris that came loose from a truck.  The debris went through her windshield and slit her throat, killing her.  While this accident wasn’t as serious, it very well could have been.  A ladder on the highway could have really caused some damage.

Please take a few extra minutes to make sure tool boxes, ladders, water coolers, etc. are secure in the back of your truck.  Let’s keep the roads safe for everyone.

If you or someone you love has suffered a serious injury in an auto accident in Kansas or Missouri, you may be entitled to compensation.  Call experienced Kansas City Personal Injury Attorney James Roswold.  With over 15 years of experience in Auto Injury Accidents, we may be able to help you and your family through this difficult time.

Three people in their early 30s were injured in a Palomar head-on car crash that occurred on June 11, 2011, around 3:10 p.m. at Lilac Road and Highway 76 (SR-76). According to Pala Fire Assistant Chief David Osuna, the collision involved two medium-sized sedans.

The injured victims were immediately transported to Palomar Medical Center for treatment.

The cause of the head-on accident is under investigation. It would be interesting for the investigating officers to determine whether any of the drivers were under the influence of alcohol or any other drug. Though the investigation is in process, the victims should consult with an experienced North San Diego County car accident lawyer who would assure that they obtain timely and fair compensation to cover cost of hospitalization, medical expenses, loss of wages, and other accident-related damages.

Our personal injury law office sincerely hopes that the injured victims recover to their complete health soon.

One person was killed in a tragic three-vehicle crash on I-70 that may have been caused by a stalled vehicle on the highway.  According to police, an SUV was towing another car when it had trouble and was forced to stop in the middle of the road.  Another vehicle that was unable to stop, rear-ended the car, killing a 36 year-old man in the process.  It is unknown if anyone else was injured or why the car was stopped in the middle of the road.  Police are investigating.

Here at Roswold Law Group, we’ve seen enough wrong way highway accidents to know that each and every one of them can be prevented.  Following mandated road and highway laws is the first step in preventing any type of automobile accident, whether it involves cars, trucks, semis or motorcycles.

Last week near Wilson, KS., three people were killed in a tragic wrong way crash in the east bound lanes of Interstate 70.  Members of the Kansas Highway Patrol investigating the crash say it was caused by a pick-up truck driving west in the eastbound lanes, colliding with another vehicle on the road.  There were two people in the second vehicle and both were killed.  The driver of the pick up unfortunately was killed as well.

The experienced Kansas City Auto Injury Attorneys of Roswold Law Group would like to extend our thoughts and sympathies to the friends and families of the victims in this tragic accident.  This is a tragic case, obviously but one that certainly could have been prevented.

While the cause of this crash had yet to be determined and released at the time of this blog writing, we can tell you that there are a few reason a vehicle might be traveling the wrong way on the highway.  Often times drunk driving plays a big part in someone accidentally entering the wrong on ramp to an interstate.  Other times it’s done for simple thrills.  Either way, driving the wrong way on a major interstate highway or road rarely ever ends well.

We hope in the future all motorists in Kansas and Missouri practice safe and attentive driving techniques to prevent serious injury accidents and fatalities.

If you or someone you love has been injured in an auto accident in Kansas or Missouri, you may be entitled to compensation including medical bills, lost wages and even legal fees.  If you are facing a up hill battle in a law suit, you need someone in your corner you can trust.  Call the experienced Kansas City Personal Injury Attorneys of Roswold Law Group.  With over 15 years of experience in Auto Injury Accidents, we may be able to help you and your family get through this difficult and often stressful time.

Three Kansas City women were seriously injured in an accident that happened at 11th Street and Paseo this week.  One of the women was listed in critical condition.  All three were taken to the hospital.  The shocking part is that three other passengers, all believed to be men, apparently abandoned the wreckage and their injured female passengers after an rollover injury accident that happened around 12:30 a.m.  Kansas City police are now searching for the other passengers under the believe that the vehicle may have been involved in a robbery earlier that night.

Here at Roswold Law Group, we are never going to excuse anyone for breaking the law– but I think we can all agree that abandoning injured passengers, especially women after a serious injury car crash– is just plain bad karma.  Legal issues aside, we do hope the injured passengers in this accident are able to recover from their injuries and the men responsible for the alleged crime as well as this senseless accident are brought to justice.

As Kansas City Auto Injury Attorneys, we work hard to protect our clients in the event of an accident.  In most auto accidents, someone is at fault, whether it be the driver of the vehicle you are in or another motorist on the road.  Most Kansas City Auto Accidents lead to some type of injury and often leaves a victim wondering how they will pay for their sure to be expensive medical bills.  That’s where we come in.

If you or a loved one has suffered a serious injury in an auto accident in Kansas or Missouri, you may be entitled to compensation for your losses, including medical bills, lost wages and even legal expenses.  Call the experienced Kansas City Personal Injury Lawyers of Roswold Law Group.  With over 15 years of experience in Auto Injury Accidents, we may be able to help you get through this difficult and stressful time.
